IZTUZU BEACH SEA TURTLES CARE STATION AND DAILY RECREATION AREA ECOLOGICAL DESIGN

01_3.jpg

The south of Iztuzu Beach is bordered by the forest area that starts with a sharp line. In our conceptual framework, the natural promenade proposed as one of the main elements of the Third Space, appears at the boundary of this forested area in the context of Iztuzu, emphasizes this natural boundary structurally and organizes the interface of human-nature interaction. All the construction will be formed on this wooden natural promenade connecting Lake Iztuzu and the Mediterranean on the east-west axis, and there will be no construction on the rest of the beach. The road approaching from the southeast will end with parking lots to be created on terraces among trees in the forest to the south of the promenade, and pedestrian access will be provided to Iztuzu Beach and DEKAMER from the entrance square at this point.
